Four and Eight-Shaft Pattern #11: Caribbean Picnic

$12.00

This pattern is for napkins and a sewn utensil roll that utilizes stripes that are woven into the fabric to give clean lines for cutting and sewing. It is an exploration of how structure, color, spacing, and high contrast between warp and weft can create fabulous gradients that can be pushed to iridescence.

Napkins can be woven in plain weave or twill and instructions are given for both four and eight-shaft looms.

The project uses four 8 oz tubes of Brassard 8/2 cotton. It is written for 4 napkins, a cutlery roll, and 20” of sampling, but the four tubes will give you enough yarn and instructions to make up to 8 napkins and 2 cutlery rolls.

Colors included: 963 Royal, 4271 Jeans, 5206 Aquamarine, 5506 Emeraude
